Crews battle Friday night house fire | News
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL (KFVS)- A Williamson County home sustained damage in a late Friday house fire.
According to Williamson County Fire Protection District firefighters the call came in at 9:47 p.m. Friday. Crews responded to the home located at 9913 Chittyville Road north of Herrin.
Firefighters say the cause was electrical. Two rooms and the attic sustained damage from the fire, but crews were able to save a lot of the occupants' belongings from ruin.
No one was injured. Firefighters say the modular home will likely need to be rebuilt.
