Marion police trying to track down purse thieves | News

MARION, IL (KFVS)- Marion police are looking for two suspects who allegedly took someone's purse at a store.
According to Marion Police Det. Maria Lara, on Saturday, Oct. 27, a female victim left her purse inside her shopping cart at the Wal-Mart in Marion.
Lara says the suspects were later seen on video surveillance taking the victim's purse from the shopping cart.
The first suspect is described as a white male, with brown hair, seen wearing a red shirt, gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jean pants.
The second suspect is described as a white female, with brown hair in ponytail/bun, wearing dark colored varsity style jacket, pants and sunglasses.
The Marion Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in identifying these suspects.
