MARION, IL (KFVS)- A Marion, Illinois man is accused of robbing a man at knife point Wednesday evening at a Johnson City restaurant.

Marshaun D. Williams, 19, of Marion was arrested and taken to the Williamson County Jail pending an appearance before the judge.

Police say they were called to the Johnson City McDonald's on North Grand Avenue around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday after someone claimed they were robbed at knife point.

Officers say the alleged robbery happened in the bathroom.

The male victim told police he was approached by Williams in the men's bathroom before pulling a knife and demanding money.

Officer say the victim then explained that he gave Williams $25, and ran from the area and called police.

After an investigation, Williams was arrested.
