FBI investigating missing water department funds in Marion | News
MARION, IL (KFVS)- The FBI is investigating missing funds from the Marion Water Department.
Marion Mayor Bob Butler says local police turned the case over to the FBI.
The city of Marion began investigating its water department in May after
the city council was made aware of unusual transactions. The
water department manager was discharged on May 14.
No word on exactly how much is missing.
