Update on large boil water order for Southern Ill. | News

(KFVS) - The Rend Lake Conservancy District has been notified that it can lift its boil water order for its customers.
According to the water district, it is now for the individual municipal customers to determine whether to lift their boil water orders. The district does not make that determination for the municipal bodies.
The water district says if you buy water from one of their wholesale customers, listed below, you can contact your water district to determine if you are under a boil water order. Wholesale customers include:

- City of Cambria
- City of Carterville
- City of Christopher
- Village of Colp
- Village of Crainville
- Village of Dahlgren
