Victim identified in fatal motorcycle wreck | News
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL (KFVS)- A motorcyclist has died after crashing his bike on Grassy Road, west of Pine Ridge Road in rural Williamson County.
According to the Lake of Egypt Fire Protection district, the initial call for the wreck came in just after 2 p.m. Saturday.
Steven Matuszczak, 20, of Herrin died due to injuries received in the crash, according to the Williamson County coroner.
Coroner Junior Burke says Matuszczak was southbound on Grassy Road when his motorcycle left the road and hit a guard rail.
The crash is under investigation.
