VIBES program to help veterans scheduled to stop in Goreville | Events

GOREVILLE, IL (KFVS) - A traveling program to help Illinois veterans know what services are available to them as well as their families and employers will be visiting Goreville, Ill. on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
The Veterans Information Benefits and Employment Seminar will be from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Saline Masonic Lodge on the corner of South Fly Street and Fern Clyffe Road. The Illinois Department of Employment Security says the program is free.
In addition to an IDES Veterans Employment Representative, a panel of Veteran service professionals from several federal, state and local organizations will be available. These individuals can answer questions about re-employment rights, service-connected disabilities, educational benefits, vocational rehabilitation, emergency financial aid, home and business loans, employment, health care and unemployment insurance.
The VIBES program is held monthly in various locations within IDES’ Southern Region.
