Marion police release list of recent arrests, citations | Crime

MARION, IL (KFVS) - The Marion Police Department has released a list of arrests and citations.

Those arrested or cited include:

• John Matlock, 43 of Cypress has been issued a citation for Retail Theft at Wal-Mart Supercenter on July 17, 2012.
• Tabatha Cowsert, 18 of Marion has been arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor on July 17, 2012.
• Arthur Wilkins, 54 of Marion has been arrested for Luring a Minor, Battery and Disorderly Conduct on July 17, 2012.
• Kenneth Sims, 47 of Marion has been arrested for Domestic Battery on July 29, 2012.
• Richard Mobley, 47 of Marion has been issued a citation for Retail Theft at Kroger on July 18, 2012.
• Gina Belcher, 23 of Johnston City has been arrested for Domestic Battery and Interference with Reporting a Domestic Battery on July 18, 2012.
• Amber Mulkins, 29 of Marion has been arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possessing Methamphetamine Manufacturing Materials on July 19, 2012.
• Scott Smith, 29 of Marion has been issued a citation for Retail Theft at Kroger on July 19, 2012.
• Aaron Emery, 19 of Carrier Mills has been arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Stolen Property and Possession of cannabis on July 21, 2012.
• Keegan McGee, 18 of Marion has been issued citations for Reckless Driving, Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident on July 22, 2012.
• Jason Morgan, 40 of Marion has been arrested for Criminal Damage to Property and Burglary from Motor Vehicle on July 21, 2012.
• Bonnie Helton, 53 of Marion has been is issued citations for Improper Lane Usage, 2 counts of Under the Influence of Alcohol and Illegal Transportation of Alcohol on July 20, 2012.
• Raymond English, 41 of Marion has been issued city ordinance violations for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Cannabis and Domestic Battery on July 22, 2012.
• Kim Howard, 46 of Marion has been issued citations for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol on July 20, 2012.
• Phillip Morgan, 24 of Harrisburg has been arrested for Possession of Methamphetamines and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on July 24, 2012.
• Anthony Pinkard, 24 of Marion has been arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamines and Obstructing Justice on July 24, 2012.
• Peni Allen, 22 of Harrisburg has been arrested for Possession of Methamphetamines, Possession of Anhydrous Ammonia, Methamphetamine Manufacturing Waste, Possession of Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine Precursors in Standard Dosage Form, Methamphetamine Precursors, Methamphetamine Delivery, Methamphetamine Manufacturing and Unlawful Use of a Weapon on July 24, 2012.
• Robert Woodard, 24 of Marion has been issued city ordinance citations for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on July 24, 2012.
• DeWayne Lyerla, 27 of Herrin has been issued a citation for Retail Theft at Wal-Mart Supercenter on July 25, 2012.
• Randy Ellery, 33 of Energy has been arrested for Harassment by Telephone on July 25, 2012.
• Dennis Higgins, 41 of Marion has been arrested for Domestic Battery on July 25, 2012.
• Dereck Miller, 23 of Harrisburg has been arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Obstructing Justice, Possession of Methamphetamines, Methamphetamine Manufacturing, Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Waste, Possession of Anhydrous Ammonia, Possession of Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine Precursor, Methamphetamine Precursor in Standard Dosage Form and Methamphetamine Delivery on July 24, 2012.
• Chris Pentecost, 39 of Marion has been arrested for Possession of Stolen Property on July 23, 2012.
• Joshua Duke, 32 of West Frankfort has been arrested for Disorderly Conduct on July 25, 2012.
• William P Campbell, 24 of Marion has been arrested for Theft Over $500 on July 26, 2012.
• Chris Schmidtke, 40 of Goreville has been issued citations for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and 2 counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol on July 20, 2012.
• Ruth Carter, 50 of Carbondale has been issued a citation for Retail Theft at Kroger on July 28, 2012.
• Nicholas Lacey, 28 of Marion has been arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Production of Cannabis Plants on July 30, 2012.
• Jessie Hartman, 36 of Hurst has been arrested for Retail Theft at Kroger on July 27, 2012.

According to the police department, residential and vehicle burglaries are still a current issue in the Marion area. They ask residents to please remove personal items from their vehicle and make sure their home and possessions are secure before leaving. Police say things such as bicycles and lawn equiment are also being stolen.
