Bike donations needed for annual Marion tradition | Community Spirit

MARION, IL (KFVS) - The Williamson County Tourism Bureau says it recently came to their attention the Santa bicycle giveaway, held in previous years on the square in downtown Marion, will not be held this year.
To ensure that a community tradition continues, the Pavilion, City of Marion and the Williamson County Tourism Bureau will be holding a bicycle giveaway in conjunction with the Pavilion open house scheduled for Dec. 12.
They say Santa will arrive at 4 p.m. via helicopter and bicycle giveaway will be at 4:30 p.m.
If you are willing to help, please contact Williamson County Tourism Bureau at 618-997-3690 as soon as possible. They say their time is short and they apologize for the brief notice.
