'Keep the Faith' Poker Run for Meredith Oct. 13 | Community Spirit

CARTERVILLE, IL (KFVS) - A "Keep the Faith" Poker Run for Meredith will be Saturday, October 13.
The event will start at Pin Oak Pub in Carterville. Registration will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the last bike will leave at noon. Price of hands are $10, $15 and $20. The poker run will end at Time Out Bar & Grill in Coulterville.
Meredith Harvel of Carterville was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease at six months old. She has had a previous transplant at 14 and now at 34, the donor kidney failed and the disease has progressed to the point that both kidneys have had to be removed.
She has been on the transplant list for more than a year and a half. Money will be used to help with medical related expenses, daily needs, cost of living and insurance premiums.
