Herrin, Marion mayors to join Voter Education Tour | Community Spirit

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - The Illinois Lawsuit Abuse Watch will be joining mayors and community leaders this week for a statewide public education tour to promote "Lawsuit Abuse Awareness Week."
The theme this year is "Good Judges Matter." The tour will kickoff in front of the Williamson County courthouse Monday, Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. I-LAW will be joined by local mayors Vic Ritter of Herrin and Robert Butler of Marion.
Speakers at the press conference will encourage voters to become educated about the positions, backgrounds and backers of judicial candidates on the ballot this November and asks voters not to skip those end-of-the-ballot judicial elections.
The Williamson County courthouse is located at 200 West Jefferson Street in Marion.
