Herrin library selling reproduction postcards to raise money
HERRIN, IL (KFVS) - The Linda Jennings Banks Herrin History Room has produced reproduction postcards of various Herrin History Photos for sale for $1 each.
Herrin City Library Director Michael Keepper said there are about 30 different photo postcards available for purchase including the Herrin Doughboy, LaMar Hotel, and other historical buildings. The postcards were produced by History Room Librarian Lisa Carnaghi and volunteer Linda Priddy.
Proceeds from the postcards will go to support the Herrin History Room at the Herrin City Library.
