MARION, IL (KFVS) - The Williamson County Tourism Bureau will present the 3rd Annual Great Egyptian Omnium, a professional/amateur bicycling race on July 21-22.
The race kicks off on Saturday in Creal Springs with a children's bike parade, which will be held at the old City Hall building at 8 am. Activities include children's games, a farmers market, and water fun at the park. The event includes something for everyone.
On Sunday the Continental Tire Criterium will take place on the campus of John A. Logan College. In order to participate, registration is required by July 20, and can be done at the Quality Inn and Suites in Marion, Ill.
