Hospice junior volunteers to offer gift wrapping services | Arts & Culture
Title (Max 100 Characters)
MARION, IL (KFVS) - The Hospice of Southern Illinois says volunteers will be at the Illinois Star Centre Mall on December 14, 15 and 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. offering gift wrapping services.
The junior volunteers will be located at center court in the mall, and all donations will come back to the hospice.
The students are in Mrs. Mummert's and Mrs. Bisching's medical careers, and nursing classes at Marion High School. The hospice says they have all been through the hospice volunteer training and they wanted to do something to give back.
According to the hospice, wrapping paper and ribbon will be provided but they say if you have a certain color of paper you would like to be used, you are more than welcome to bring your own for the students to use.
The Hospice of Southern Illinois is a not-for-profit, free-standing, community-based hospice program with over 30 years experience providing hospice care exclusively.
For more information about the hospice services or the junior volunteer program, you can call Jennifer at 618-997-3030.
