2011 Dachshud Races, Fashion Show in Marion | Arts & Culture

MARION, IL (KFVS) - The American Legion Post 147 Auxiliary and Marion Plaza Shopping Center will present the 2011 Dachshund Races and Fashion Show on Saturday, September 24.

Registration will start at 10:30 a.m. and the event will start at 11 a.m.

Admission will be a non-perishable food donation. Organizers say proceeds benefit the Marion Ministerial Alliance.

Trophies will be awarded to first and second places in the race, "Mayor's Cup" best dressed, "Look-a-like" best dachshund/human outfits and "Most Original."
