About Michaelis Jackson, M.D.
Dr Jackson has many specialties, including cataract surgery, lens implants, laser vision corrections, and glaucoma. He has over 20 years of experience in ocular surgery. Dr. Jackson received his B.S. in Biology with honors from Lindenwood College, St. Charles, MO in 1981. He attended Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in Nashville, TN where he received his M.D. Degree in 1985.
Dr. Jackson completed his residency at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York where he served as Chief resident from 1988-1990. Dr. Jackson has been practicing ophthalmology in Southern Illinois since 1991
